During a 25-year corporate career (1), I noticed how many of my colleagues suffered from stress and depression. It got progressively worse over the years as the demands and pressure of work increased. Colleagues were taking time off work for their mental health, but worse still, some of them never returned back. I felt that the only reason why I hadn’t burnt out was because I knew how to meditate. It’s this ability that really motivated me to start teaching mediation and well-being in companies.

I’ve now been teaching for the last 15 years in four continents, but for the last 30 years, meditation has been an part of my daily routine. I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with a very broad spectrum of society, but they all mostly have the same needs when it comes to mental health and the desire for more agility to cope with home and work life. That’s because we are living in a world of relentless change, where we are being expected to do more in less time and yet still find time for our family and friends and be happy.

That’s why I believe that everyone should know how to meditate. It is an essential life skill that we all need in today’s world. It allows you to befriend your mind so that it can work for you rather than against you. Such a mind will directly affect your happiness and health. Even if you are new to meditation, it can be an easy and a joyful practice. And that’s why i love teaching it. The more you meditate, you will transform your perception and life experiences. There is nothing better than for me to see someone use Simply Meditation in Business to re-engineer their life. So i invite you to become the architect of your own well-being and step out of stress and become more resilient, shift from chaos to clarity and productivity and overcome your fears and negativity and choose to be more joyful and positive.
